2000 – The company becomes a joint-stock company: “F.lli Casavecchia S.p.a.” is born
At the beginning of the new millennium, the company experienced a great rise.
In the early 2000s, we started acquiring large orders. All sectors were living a favorable moment, and in the wave of this seemingly unstoppable prosperity, construction companies grew like mushrooms.
There was an increasing demand for industrial construction and we could work on a large number of big construction sites. Our offices began to fill up, not to count the accountants, lawyers and above all the banks, who were competing to provide us with their services … In short, the situation was idyllic.
This was until suddenly, in 2008, we began to feel the first blows of the national great crisis.
The economy started to collapse, it was no longer automatic to get large orders and customers, the phone wouldn’t ring as before and we were preparing for the most catastrophic crisis in history.
It was time to do something concrete to restore the company.
