Decorative redevelopment of roundabouts in Fano (PU)

The Municipality of Fano launched in 2019 a urban redevelopment project which included decorative interventions on three roundabouts of the Interquartieri road.

The project was followed by the Technical Office of the Municipality under the direction of Arch. Rita Carbonari, and was realized by the company Cini Impianti Tecnologici srl from Pergola (PU). With the intent of taking care of these visible urban areas, the interventions give at the same time prestige to the city of Fano through symbols celebrating and representing it.

Let’s take for example the roundabout at the intersection of Via Aldo Moro and Via Fanella: the decorative motifs in shades of White and Red, the colors of Fano, centrally recall the sea waves with historical hints to the Roman centuriation in the part towards the hill.

The realization was carried out with natural, draining materials, combined with essences and lighting.

The colored Rockolors stones stand out again for their quality and versatility, becoming the mouthpieces for the high symbolic value of this open-air work of art.
