Project Description

A combination of solutions, styles and colors for a surprising result: here is the work carried out by our collaborator Edilcozzi Costruzioni, who was entrusted with the construction of the external flooring of the Superintendence headquarters, in the historic Capuchin Convent.

The work, named “giardino delle arti” (=garden of the arts), was designed by architect Francesco Canestrini with the aim of redeveloping the paved terrace and nearby garden overlooking the wonderful coast of Maratea.

The garden is a contemporary reinterpretation of the “parterre de broderie”, one of the main inventions of the French garden, embroidered with elegant arabesques inspired by the design of leaves and vegetation.

In the reinterpretation of the project, the swirls of the French garden take up the iridescent shades of the sea of Maratea, on a background recalling the Mediterranean warmth: technically speaking, the executor has realized a washed gravel floor with Resin Rock decoration, using Rockolors Original stones, color: Bisbee Blue.

The result of this wonderful combination is a unique, precious flooring, doing justice to the breathtaking view, welcoming and accompanying visitors within the rich botanical collection.
