DEPOLVERIZZATO

Depolverizzato (literally dedusting, ecologic bitumen coating) is the most popular technique used for the maintenance of low-traffic road networks. It is a low-cost surface treatment with low environmental impact, ideal for rural areas and characterized by great flexibility and durability.

Following the regularization of the laying surface, the Depolvrizzato technique consists of: application of a bituminous emulsion tack coat, grinding, rolling and double layer of emulsion/grit treatment.
